Somehow, for some people, the language, culture, and spirit of Japan can simply take control of the direction of their life. If you're one of those people, like me, no explanation is needed. If not, no explanation will suffice. In either case, I hope the Japan portion of my site will be of interest to you, giving curious outsiders a peak into life in Japan, and the other Japanese gaijin or gaijin in training a reference point to confirm what you've already experienced ("I feel your pain!") and what is yet to come ("But you ain't seen nothing yet!")

*NEW* I'm working on a FAQ for Americans in Japan on filing United States tax forms (yes, you still have to do that even if you live here!) It's still a work in progress, but check it out if you're interested.
Still no content yet, so give me a couple of
days years to start writing the subsections.
For now, you can entertain yourself with my new Japan Awakener. If you are studying Kanji via the Heisig method, then my Daily Kanji Generator page might be of interest as well. Then the first thing I'm gonna probably end UP writing about is the Tokyo DisneySea. But for now, click on the link and check out the official English site for yourself!
If you're really in the mood to learn more about Japan, check out Harvey's site: JapanNewbie. I've written a lot of comments on his discussion board as of late, that have all disappeared when he moved his site to a new server! Oh well...
